Singapore, 25th April, 2025 – Singair is pleased to announce the beginning of a strategic aircraft transition as part of its ongoing efforts to modernize its fleet and enhance operational efficiency. The airline has started phasing out its Boeing 747-400 and Boeing 777-200ER/-200/-300 aircraft, replacing them with more advanced, fuel-efficient models, including the Airbus A380, Boeing 777-300ER, and Boeing 747-8.
“We are excited to usher in the next chapter of Singair’s journey,” said Daniel Steppen, CEO at Singair. “The transition to the Airbus A380 and newer Boeing models reflects our dedication to offering our customers the best possible flying experience while also ensuring we meet our environmental responsibilities. We look forward to continuing to provide world-class service with an even more efficient and modern fleet.”
As Singair continues to phase out its older aircraft, the airline will maintain its focus on safety, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. The replacement of these aircraft is expected to be completed by 2027, marking a significant milestone in Singair’s ongoing fleet modernization efforts.
